Will Sitata spam my email?
Not at all! If you register a trip with Sitata or if your travel medicine clinic registers your trip with us, you will receive alerts only while you are on your trip and only for the countries that you’ll be visiting.
We do send alerts to you after your trip for infectious diseases with an incubation period. The incubation period means that you might have a disease but haven’t experienced any symptoms yet. Therefore, if you were in the country within the incubation period of a disease, we might notify you about it. This is because some people arrive back at home and start to feel sick maybe a few days to a week later. Sometimes people forget to tell their doctors that they’ve been to a foreign country, and the doctor might misdiagnose you!
